(KSCJ) - The Sioux City Public Museum has debuted an exhibit from the Society of Animal Artists featuring the work of 118 of their members.

(KTIV) - The Sioux City Public Museum and Historical Association was awarded a $20,000 grant from the Iowa Arts Council.

The award is a Cultural Leadership Partners grant funded by the Iowa Legislature and National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.

(KTIV) - The popular family-friendly festival will return to Sioux City on the second weekend of October.

Fall Fest will be held on Saturday, Oct. 12, and Sunday, Oct. 13.

(KTIV) - Re-enactors took Sioux City back in time, to mark the days that Lewis and Clark and their crew traveled nearly 200 years ago

(KTIV) In the 1850s, a part of what is now Hamilton Blvd, then known as North Sioux City, was platted and divided into lots.

But after moving to Sioux City in 1868, James H. Hamilton and some partners bought the subdivision, and what was then Hannibal Street eventually became Hamilton. The north end of Hamilton was farmland in 1905 near Outer Drive. It went from being a cow path to a dirt road with houses along it.

(KCAU)– For a few months now, the Sioux City Public Museum has celebrated the history of a musician who once lived here in Sioux City.

KWIT - This What's The Frequency episode is devoted to gaming, which is a huge recreational pursuit for a lot of people. For some it is more than a hobby, but almost a lifestyle.

KCAU — From Model A’s, and Roadsters to Camaros, you can find a little of everything at the 51st Bill Diamond Antique and Classic Car Show.

The car show was started in 1970 at the Sioux City Public Museum site as part of a temporary exhibition.

KTIV - That event happened at the Peirce Mansion in Sioux City. From 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the Sioux City Public Museum opened up the historic mansion for people to see the preserved architecture.

From the ballroom to the grand staircase, everything in the building is restored to the way it looked in 1893. The upkeep of the mansion is funded solely by donations and the help of volunteers.

KCAU — The Sioux City Museum and Historical Association will be hosting its annual Bill Diamond Antique and Classic Car Show.

On Sunday, July 14, there will be a display of vehicles ranging from Model T to vintage roadsters from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Sergeant Floyd River Museum & Welcome Center on the riverfront.

KCAU — The Sioux City Public Museum will be presenting an open house and walking tour this summer.

On Tuesday, July 9, the Peirce Mansion Open House and Jackson Street Walking Tour will highlight one of Sioux City’s most historic residential neighborhoods.
